New Pakistani/Indian restaurant in central Medford. Food is good. The naans are excellent. Very rich and crispy. The seating area still seems like a work in progress. Right now, it looks more like a bunch of tables in a hall but hopefully that will improve. As of this review, they are only open for lunch and dinner but they\'re going to be adding the standard desi buffet soon.
I recently ordered chicken biryani to go from a Pakistani restaurant, and the entire experience left me very impressed. Even though I opted for takeout, the service was warm and attentive. The staff packed the food carefully, ensuring everything stayed fresh and warm until I reached home. It was clear they take pride in both their food and the way it is presented to guests. The chicken biryani itself was exceptional. The aroma filled my car as soon as I picked up the bag, making it almost impossible to wait until I got home. The rice was fluffy and beautifully seasoned with traditional spices that gave each bite a rich and authentic flavor. The chicken pieces were tender and flavorful, blending seamlessly with the saffron, herbs, and subtle heat. It was a perfect balance—neither too heavy nor too spicy, just deeply satisfying. Even though I did not dine in, I noticed how quiet and peaceful the restaurant felt while I was waiting for my order. It struck me as the kind of place where you could enjoy a calm meal without distractions, making it a great option for both takeout and dining in. The atmosphere added to the overall impression that this restaurant values comfort as much as flavor. The portion size was generous, making it easy to share or save some for later, and the quality was consistent from the first bite to the last. For anyone looking to enjoy authentic Pakistani cuisine in a quiet and welcoming environment—or simply to grab a delicious meal to go—this spot is truly a hidden gem. I will definitely be ordering again, and next time I may stay to enjoy the calm atmosphere along with the wonderful food.
I absolutely love this place. Best Pakistani flavors I’ve had. I moved here from California and there were quite a few Pakistani restaurants but this place reminds me of flavors when you are in Pakistan. Authentic flavors. I would highly recommend this place!!!
They have the best non-Hyderabadi style chicken biryani in the greater Boston area. The nihari and chapli kabab taste just like they do back home, and the achari chicken is outstanding. This is my go to place when I’m craving desi food, and far better than the Americanized Indian food you get in Boston.
Overall This is my take out restaurant and it has the best mango lassi in Boston. Decor It looks like any other restaurant. Service There is no service here. The waitress is so bad that we make fun of her every single time. Food The food is great, especially the kima nang and mango lassis. The only not good thing was the briliyani. We asked for medium spicy and for Indian food, it is not possible to change the spicy level, so they added white rice into the briliyani to make it medium spicy. That’s a no go.
There was literally no one in the restaurant for straight 2.30hours. No one was picking up the call either. We went to zamzam, there was one person who asked us to get back in 30 mins, we got back after 30 mins, no was there at the restaurant. So we waited for 10 mins, called the restaurant, no one was there. Then were so hungry, so we went in the restaurant in front of it. We ate, and then peeked at the restaurant after our meals to see if someone came? Guess what! No one was still there. no one called back. And this is SATURDAY.
The food was utterly delicious and the person serving us was very warm and welcoming. I ordered Beef Nihari, Mutton Nihari, Mutton Kadhai, Mutton Haleem, Garlic Naan and chai. Everything was great. The meat in Mutton Kadhai could have been cooked for a little bit longer.
Exceptional healthy cuisine. A vegetarian’s delight. The best samosa & mango lassis I’ve ever had. Must go again.
We ordered shammi kabab as appetizer, it’s a beef and vegi fried patty, no very good and very oil, we didn’t finish it. And we ordered chicken tiki masala and beef curry as main course. The chicken tasted sweet and sour, with lot of spices, I think this is how Indian food like. Lamb curry is a bit spicy if u eat a lot. Both two are recommended but they are too oily. So I might not be able to eat it very often xD.
I rarely leave a bad review but this place felt run down. Should’ve been a sign that nobody was there for a Sunday lunch. No AC, the plates weren’t super clean and the food was not good except for the Tikka Masala so if you do decide to go try that. Everything else was super oily and made you not want to put the sauce on your rice. Better to avoid this one. Tikka Masala saved it from a 1 star
