The owners are Muslim and have confirmed its halal status.. Selected franchises of Wayback offers halal options (halal burgers and halal beef bacon). From the management: 'Everything is halal'
Wayback Burgers is all about creating great memories that stand the test of time. That's why our restaurants are warm and inviting - comfy places where you can hook up with good friends, put your elbows on the table, and simply be yourself. Kind of like the Great Store of yesterday, where the locals would gather around the stove for great stories and good companionship and let the world go by. Everything felt familiar and - almost in an indescribable way - just right. Rest assured: You can still get those same feelings today. Because at Wayback Burgers, we're a throwback to a simpler, more genuine time.

Not completely halal, only beef and chicken are. They sell pork bacon and alcohol.
Found this place on Zabihah.com while in Dallas for work. Great fast food joint. Very clean and a great place to dine-in with family or friends. Full Halal menu. Visited them once for dinner and then once for lunch and great experience both times. Now I just wish Wayback Burgers would open a halal location in Chicago.
Great tasty burgers. Nice atmosphere.
Great food and good prices. Burgers are very customizable!
I just went into this place to eat. It is being advertised as \"halal\". There is even a sign on the counter. To double-check I asked the guy behind the counter \"is the bacon halal beef\". He said \"you can get either bacon or pork\". So I walked out and won\'t be coming back.
Ah-mazing! Alhamdulillah, nice place and good food!
Amazing food and staff. I love to order the chipotle burger with a hot dog and my wife orders rodeo burger. Well worth the 35 min drive.
Burger\'s are very tasty, definitely recommend.
they make solid burgers. their portions are somewhat small for the price but decent place to get burgers.
Went here while visiting Dallas. I\'m from the Bay Area, where we have two Wayback locations, and was expecting to experience something similar here. For the most part, yes, the pre-selected, franchised theme was similar. The Double Cheesy is my favorite. The restaurant is clean enough, and portion size and service is OK. Glad to see non-halal franchises becoming increasingly halal across the country. Let\'s keep it rolling!
InTown from Florida. I had the juicy double bacon burger and my wife had the buffalo chicken burger. 5 Star! Great customer service and food quality.
One of the BEST burgers I have even had. The Cheese burger was awesome and had an amazing taste. The owner is a Muslim and we chatted for a bit. This was my second time and the quality was the same. Will be going here whenever I'm craving a burger.
Tried this new place I was the only one there for what\'s normally a very busy lunch hour in the area. Staff confirmed everything on menu was halal. Had Philly cheesesteak, onion rings and a softdrink. For about $15. The place was clean, and the food arrived quickly. Food itself was average. The onions in the onion rings were undercooked. i.e. a bite would pull the soggy onion out of the crispy beautiful batter. The sandwich was ok. The bread was too soft for my taste but the filling was tender and seasoned properly. I am not excited to come back here. I hope that will change.
