From the management: '100% Halal Chicken used in all dishes'
Star of Siam, located just off the bustle of Michigan Avenue, is a must for anyone who loves Thai food. The space is very open, with red brick and exposed pipes, which are painted red to match the brick. The color scheme is carried through in the red cushions and colorful wall hangings. Not your usual place to go for Thai food, "Star of Siam" serves a standard Thai menu in an urban warehouse setting rather than in a storefront dive. This has led one reviewer to call it "yuppie-Thai," which is, perhaps, not so far off the mark given the young, urban, professional crowd often found dining here.

Food is absolutely delicious. The owner Eddie is almost always there. Very kind hearted and assures all musliks that all the meat is halal. #25 is the best but everything from the spicy beef to the soups or entries are made fresh. Can\\\'t best the prices and the atmosphere.
Loved this place so much! Will always recommend this place!
Crab Rangoon and Chicken Satay appetizers were excellent. Chicken fried rice, Green curry beef, and Chicken supreme were all ok. Very reasonably priced and cool decor. We were told their entire menu consists of halal meat. If you like Thai food this place is definitely worth a shot.
Our waitress confirmed that the chicken was halal. Another employee, who may have been the manager and probably noticed my wife's hijab, stopped by our table and told us that both their beef and chicken dishes were halal. We had already ordered various chicken dishes by that time.
