Señor Jalapeno offers up delicious, authentic Mexican food and is light on your wallet. Dined in with a few friends and the service was amazing and the food tasted fresh and delicious. I ordered the Steak A La Tampiquena and the serving size was huge. The steak was grilled just right and was flavorful. It also came with rice, beans, guacamole, salad, and tortillas...all for 11.99! These guys went completely out of their way to become halal over a whole year...def come out and support them.

Owner is great along with the staff. wish the place had more seats other than that no other negative comments. Had steak and chicken tacos (def recommend steak) along with steak quesadilla and avocado w chips and salsa. steak is great chicken was okay more bland not much flavor and quesadilla was fulfilling just like the taco avacoda creamy and fresh .. Owner will be opening up a new location in Naperville soon. Lets keep this establishment running for a very long time

This place is Awesome and nice change of pace from the regular halal food options. The staff there were really nice in helping pick out some nice dishes. I had the triple combo of soft taco, quesadilla, and tamale, all were great.

They have halal/Zabihah meat. Staff was very courteous and even showed me where he gets the meat and what is zabihah/halal and what is not. Owner/Manager is very nice and very guest orientated.

They verbally affirmed halal meat status when I placed an order. I was pleasantly surprised about the quality. I would highly recommend the chicken burrito and quesadillas. Also, their horchata (sweet, iced rice drink) is superb.

This place has incredible Mexican food and is very affordable. The steak burrito and tamales are really great. Really nice to have a halal Mexican option in the area! Don\'t hesitate to try this place!

Authentic, clean, friendly, fast, great price. The owner met some Muslims in the area, who encouraged him to buy Halal and eliminate lard and pork from side dishes. He did, the regulars love the new flavors, and now the Muslims need to start showing up! In all seriousness though, we had delicious enchiladas, burritos, fajitas, and horchata. Swing by, and you\'ll keep coming back. This is the only place I\'ve seen pinto (red) beans that are truly vegan- and they\'re good. Ask for the habenero salsa, (followed by flan on the weekends).
