Huge disappointment. Does not deserve a star. First impressions matter and this one missed the mark completely. The food was the biggest letdown. The steak was bland and not cooked how I ordered it. The French fry dressing looked old and was literally bubbling in the bottle (a tomato bottle used as a condiment dispenser for the French fry dressing) and looked liked it was never wiped cleaned after several uses. The lettuce was wilted and stale, the mint in the passion fruit and lemonade drink was old. Service was just as bad. The waitress had no idea how to serve the food and it was obvious no training was provided. When I flagged the issues to the manager, he didn’t know how to fix the problem and kept repeating that he’s new at the restaurant. That’s not a solution when customers are paying for a meal. We won’t be returning
Food and drinks are average! Meat was very chewy and fatty but we just came here to eat cause there was nothing else around.
Had a great time.... Good food, great service and relaxing atmosphere
It was an ice-cold rainy day. The earth was soaked in happy drops of nurture. I didn't have much hope of defrosting until I opened the door and walked into a very cozy, warm restaurant. Fire crackling and welcoming laughter of patrons immediately set the scene. The food was great and served hot. The waitress (Mercy)was friendly and sufficient. I will go back once the sun wins the clouds in the spring season and then sit outside to admire the beautiful view.
One of my absolute go-to restaurants! The atmosphere is always so lovely and inviting, with a cozy, quiet vibe that’s perfect for any occasion. In the winter, the crackling fire adds a wonderful touch to the overall experience. The food is consistently amazing, though I have noticed a slight variation at times, which can be a bit disappointing. I also prefer my Gin on Tap to always come with the same fruit, ICE and sugar ring, but it’s a minor inconsistency that could be improved. Despite this, I still love this place so much! The waitstaff, especially Desire , Don and Desmond are always attentive, friendly, and make every visit memorable. Highly recommend it! The only suggestion I’d have is for them to consider getting a large, noticeable advertising board. The place is a bit hidden, and having better visibility could help more people discover this gem!
