Amazing halal place. Excellent ambience, Bette than any other halal place in DC. Great for a special occasion. Very good service! Food was amazing, 5 star. Had the lamb shank and beef tenderloin.

Nice sit-down restaurant a couple of blocks from 6th & I Synagogue where we were watching a show later. Appetizers were not bad but forgettable. Main dishes were very good. and flavorful. A tad pricey but portions were fair. Staff was friendly and attentive. Restaurant was packed on a Saturday night, which was a good sign, but that was also a drawback as I couldn\'t hear anything the waitress was saying.

Came here for Friday late lunch, the place was really empty. Only 1 table had guests. Decor is amazing. We ordered Shepard salad and the hummus. The salad had too many tomatoes and the hummus was cold. We wanted to order the adana kebabs but the waiter told us they were beef, been to many turkish places and adana are always lamb. So we ended up ordering some lamb skewers. It was just ok. Overall not worth visiting again, service was ok, seemed like they preparing for the dinner!

While in town for a conference came here for a departmental dinner. Have to say that the staff was very friendly and accommodating despite us being a large group. The food itself was fantastic and the meze were all phenomenal. This was a hit with everyone present at the table! Would recommend this restaurant for any celebratory or group dinners.

We went to brunch there today. Things started off great. We found hair in our food - short, straight black hair and I regret not taking a picture. We bought it to the attention of our server, Selman. He was unbothered. He took that plate away and went on about his day. No acknowledgement from management. They automatically include a 20% tip to your bill, which is fine until you have situations like this where there’s really no incentive for great service. After this experience, there’s really no sense in going back, which is a shame because otherwise the food was good and so was the atmosphere, but the hair in the food and how it was [mis]handled after the fact was a total turn off.
