The menus at this restaurant clearly state that Halal food is served. From the management: 'The Halal Guys takes great pride in using only the highest quality, halal-certified meats. We know many of our customers like to know the sources of their food and we are happy to provide the Halal certifications for our chicken and our beef gyro. 100% halal food.'
From humble beginnings as a New York City hot dog cart to a world-renowned international restaurant chain, The Halal Guys story is the quintessential American Dream. The Halal Guys is defining a new, thriving segment for the restaurant industry: American Halal Food! The Halal Guys legend began in 1990, when the three founding partners opened up a hot dog cart on West 53rd & 6th Avenue in New York City. As business grew, they recognized a huge demand from Muslim cab drivers looking for a halal food meal. That is when the famous platter of chicken and gyro over rice was born. And let's not forget about the famous white and red sauces! Fast-forward 25 years, five carts, two New York City restaurants, and millions of diverse customers served, The Halal Guys is growing yet again. Fans no longer have to be in NYC to experience The Halal Guys as they look to share American Halal Food all over the country and the world.

Excellent food, Amazing white sauce . Big Fan since 15 years. It is must every time we go to NYC . we would drive all the way from PA and to have it. We always have to buy 2 extra platters for the next day. The white sauce is a must and a lot of it. The platter is so large and for the price it is great. I like it with a lot of white sauce and BBQ sauce and few drops of red sauce . i like green peppers and 2 falafels on top. Strong recommend if you never tried . I tried this location few weeks ago and yesterday and it tasted just as good as NYC. Very glad i dont have to drive to NYC any more.
Please don't go here if you Through your money to the garbage then this place is
I would much rather eat from any halal cart in nyc. This place is below average. Processed meat kills the taste.
Not same taste as the original. Very less meat, lot\'s of yellow colored rice and the price with tax $9.40. Not worth it!
Portions are way too small and over priced
Good food.
