Best lebanese baklava! No need to bring it from lebanon anymore! The knefeh is also tasty but a bit different, no chewy feeling of the cheese, it’s tasty but i donno what is mixed instead or with the cheese. The smell of the butter, mazaher, mawared are so nice in both sweets we’ve tried.
I thought there can be a limit for law quality but this is by far exceeded all limits. The cakes look horrible as if there were cut by someone’s toes not a knife, they taste like cardboard and there is fruit and chocolate in the same piece? I think the people who opened this business have zero idea about pastries. I thought that laws here require a person to have a meistersbrief in baking before opening a business like this. I don’t know how they did it!
Ordered via Wolt two pizzas and two baclavas. Got one baclava (later than expected) and no explanations. Tried to called them, but nobody picked up the phone. Completely unserious. Had to request a refund from Wolt.
I attempted to withdraw 50 euros from the ATM outside this shop but after I saw there was a 5.49 euro foreign transaction fee, I cancelled. However I was still charged €55.49 despite not receiving any cash & there is no way for me to contact the merchant by email or their website! Edit: response 22/10/23: I have left a negative review because I did not receive any cash from the machine but it has taken the money from my account & there was no way for me to contact you to explain this & request for my money back. My bank is investigating this as I am owed 55.49 euros by your company from 09/09/23 at 19:14, but if you could look at the transaction and issue a refund I will be thankful.
Not the best baklava available in Berlin – for that head to Damaskus around the corner – but interesting in that this place uses almonds and pine nuts, which you're unlikely to find elsewhere
