Sara's Halal Burgers Fried Chicken & Grill

For a place that advertises as a halal burger place, I expected much more. Maybe having fresh ground meat instead of frozen beef patties you can buy at Restaurant Depot/Jetro may help. Nothing special about the food

I don\'t understand how this place has any good reviews. I\'ve ordered 3 times from them and have experienced issues each time. Will not be giving them a 4th chance. The first time I ordered a few months ago, I had a to go order and when I got home, I realized one of the items was missing. The second time, a couple of months later, I ordered again on the phone and this time, I checked the order before walking out...sure enought, they got the order wrong but I had to wait longer for them to correct it. Their phone communication is very difficult so today, I ordered using GrubHub and figured the order is in writing so there is no way they can botch it up. I was wrong. I ordered a Jalapeno Steak sub and what I received was a chicken and cheese sub. I called them to tell them about it and after explaining the situation to the guy who answered, I realized he wasn\'t understanding me and was trying to place another order for me. He then handed the phone to someone else and first, the guy tells me that GrubHub has the item wrong and that their Jalapeno Steak sub is actually chicken. I told him that makes no sense and then asked why there aren\'t any jalapenos on the sandwich. At which point, he was busted. He apologizes and then goes on to say that next time I order, just mention this incident and they will give me a credit. I told him there won\'t be a next time and to send me the right sandwich. He says it\'s a complicated process with GrubHub and then offers me a refund. I say ok. Then he says I have to call GrubHub to get the refund because if he has to do it, it will take a long time. I message GrubHub\'s live chat and they took care of it. I gave this place 3 chances because it\'s close to my place of work and they are a halal establishment and they\'ve disappointed each time.

Great fried chicken and awesome sandwiches

It\'s excellent that they use chicken which is hand-slaughtered zabihah. Although it may cost a dollar or two more, you can eat with comfort and savor the flavor of their menu items being sources from a premium product.

Great food! Very good and friendly service. Full zabihah halal..you can eat without any doubt.
