We regularly go to Nando's wherever we can find one. The quality and taste of this Portuguese peri peri restaurant surpasses that of Nando's. Their peri peri chicken has authentic taste. Pitas/wraps are delicious as well. Owner was very polite and helpful. We are definitely going back.
This is basically halal Nandos. The service here is mediocre at best, slow (call ahead), but the chicken is one of a kind. The rice is boring (not like the real deal) basically just biryani rice.
Chicken is amazing. Fresh and grilled and tasty. Service is very inconsistent. They will screw up your order if you don't stay in top of them. They hire cheap cheap labor of attitude filled cashiers and workers.
The flavors are good but the staff don\'t clean the tables till asked, they mix up orders, and don\'t really know how to wrap the wraps. The Portos in Schaumburg is a 100% better than the one in Skokie.
Average food quality yet expensive. Rice is very blend, spiciness on chicken can be adjusted to preference but really, nothing special on taste. Anyone could do their own tastier wraps at home. There are other places elsewhere which are better. Not worth the money.
It used to be Fogo's Peri Peri. Visited twice after name change. Was disappointed the first time but now looks same taste is back. Try mild as hot is really hot. I wish they could improve service and timing. Closest you can get to Halal Nandos in USA:)
