Istanbul is a wonderful Turkish restaurant about 100meter/300 feet to the West of about 8 hotels on Cameroon Street. It has a wonderful enclosed space and a courtyard about 30 meters by 30 meters.

This restaurant is hidden off of a one way street just past the Friendship International Hotel (going from Friendship hotel towards Bole road). The menu was quite extensive. We had a chicken wrap/sandwich, kabab sandwich, chicken kabab platter and a Brick Oven Turkish kabab plate. The wraps were quite big but did not come with french fries. The kabab wrap was delicious and so was the mixed chicken kabab platter. All dishes were served as individual portions (unlike other restaurants in Addis where a meal is for atleast couple people). There were several non-Turkish dishes on the menu (i.e. Arab and Ethiopian) but we didn\'t try any of those. The ambience was good and service was reasonably fast. The washroom was very clean and there was a prayer room adjacent to it.
