I was taken aback to discover that their default offering is non-halal, and halal food is only available upon request for an additional fee.

If a resturant serves pork as an ingredient in any of its offerings then it has no business being listed in the Zabihah app. May Allah reward you for your efforts for at least trying to provide halal options but your haram pork completely invalidates it. How can you guarantee that not even a single piece of pork made it into my dish? Or the cutlery or pans used dont have any on it? You simply cant. The solution is simple: You should offer halal sausages which only contain halal meats. Yes, they are available if you actually want them.
