About Istanbul Kebab

Istanbul Kebab was started by Vural & Jackie Oktay and Hasan Oktay. Vural and Hasan are brothers who grew up in the heart of Istanbul. Vural moved to the states in the winter of 2003, worked in the food and beverage industry in Istanbul prior and continued in New Hampshire and Vermont. Vural met his wife, Jackie, in 2006 while working at the Mount Washington Resort in Bretton Woods, New Hampshire. Hasan also worked in the food and beverage industry in Istanbul before moving to Vermont in the spring of 2012. The doors of Istanbul Kebab House first opened on June 1st, 2012 and continues to be operated by Vural, Jackie, and Hasan.
