They need to work on their service AND menu items. Everytime I go there they have the same items with chicken. They need to add more mutton items besides goat kerhai like Matka Gosht, Pasanda, beef bihari and Chapli, and anything but chicken makhni, tikka masala, chicken kerhai. I mean every time, same chicken items. But I do like their chicken bihari and I love their matka gosht (only once I had it)

I think Tabaq has turned around their food and service for the better. Recently my wife and I ate here, and we ordered from the chinese menu (drums of heaven, fried rice, garlic chicken). Everything was spot on and absolutely delicious! Their desi menu is hit or miss, but we really like the items on the chinese menu. Will definitely come here again. They are very accommodating with requests for prayer rug/area as well.

Great place with a great value @ $8 for lunch buffet which includes goat curry, chicken kababs, mango lassi, drinks, samosas. Definitely coming back over and over. The only complaint was that the food kept finishing and we had to ask them to refill. Courteous staff, friendly with kids.

First thing first, extremely poor service and lack of management - a total disaster. The people taking orders or even manager(s) don't know whether kitchen can make it - take orders and then later after wait say that we don't have it. Although price is low, but match with quality of food - owners have to take the business seriously if intend to stay in market - probably the weakest restaurant on Oak-Tree road.

We ordered catering for Eid. It gave everyone food poisoning. Will not order from here again.

Tabaq just opened and has a great location and a lot of seating. They have the signature Jersey Kabab dish aka Chicken Cheese Kababs which are really good. They also have some items that no other pakistani restaurant in NJ offers such as Cheese Naans and Chicken Cheese Parathas. Both iteams tasted great when I tried them. Tabaq has brought some really good food to the pakistani food scene and is a must visit when one is on Oak Tree Rd. They also have ample parking and their customer service is a lot better than other restaruants on Oak Tree.
