The owners of this restaurant are Muslim and have confirmed its halal status. All food at this restaurant is certified halal.
With multiple locations throughout Brooklyn, the Brisket House is famous for, well, brisket made three ways. One of the most popular menus items is the brisket with brown gravy on the side. This Jewish deli was originally opened in the 1970s and is now run by observant Yemeni Muslims who very much appreciate a good breakfast sandwich. A line can be seen stretching out the front door in the morning for their specialty items including a non-kosher breakfast sandwich stuffed with eggs, pastrami and American cheese.

I came here for a late breakfast before going to Jumuah at nearby Masjid Taqwa. Great place that serves Jewish deli food that is halal! Enjoyed being able to order pancakes and an omelette and everything was tasty. The brothers here are really friendly and service is excellent. I was also shocked at how inexpensive my food amounted to.
This is a halal Jewish deli (!) serving a traditional array of del sandwiches. This author\'s memory is a bit hazy now, but he recalls an exceptional corned beef sandwich. He will update this review on his return (hopefully soon as the poor quality of work at his hospital is keeping him hungry)
Having carried out extensive research as to its halal status, I discovered that this is a Jewish owned deli, but is franchised to a Muslim Yemeni family, who assured me they only serve halal meat. As to the food, well, what can I say? Excellent is the only word I can use. They have a wide variety of meat sandwiches and burgers. My daughter ordered a chicken burger, whilst my son and I ordered the star of the show - the brisket, corned beef and pastrami sandwich! It was huge. Unsurprisingly, my son and I decided to share one, and it was enough to keep us going the rest of the day. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The crowning moment came when we couldn't find a taxi. The young man taking the orders (Aladdin) took us to the nearby rail station, and even bought the rail tickets for us! He refused to take any money. May allah bless him.
