Very tasty Yemeni food with nice decor and service. We enjoyed mendi entrees on a large platter, seated on the carpet in a private booth. The kids liked this experience vs. using the tables and usual booths. Careful not to overeat!

I have been visiting this place for a long time. Service: Very slow Price: Expensive, Prices were jacked up after renovation Food: I like Red Meat items the most here ( Fahsah, Haneeth, Mandi , Shish Kaboob, etc.) If you eat Zabiha meat only I would confirm with the owner if chicken is zabiha or not as I have seen him buying chicken from restaurant depot.

I was very excited to try this place but was overall a bit disappointed. Let me start with the good. The restaurant was clean and all food is Zabihah. Unfortunately we were not that impressed with the food. I had the mixed Mandi plate (chicken and lamb). Both the lamb and chicken had no flavor. It was served on top of yellow rice that also did not have much flavor. There were no sauces served which made the dish very dry to eat. My husband and kids had shawarma. They thought it was just ok. For the price, I expected a bit more. With a few improvements, it could be a great place.

Amazing Middle Eastern food, very authentic Yemeni style food, the fahsah was very delicious, their mandi chicken and meat are also very good. Mashallah and the meat is fresh as they have a halal butcher right next to the restaurant in the adjacent grocery store that is part of Al- Rayan as well. Must try if in Indy area if looking for halal food at a affordable price.
