Was over in Arlington today and stopped in. Got the gyro platter and it was great and reasonably priced. Also have halal beef bacon burgers on the menu
Great burger
I was in Dallas for 3 days trip - I needed hala food this had to Visit this restaurant and it was August 2016 and my selection to this burger place was based on the reviews from Zabiha customers ( app ), the site is normal look , small and need some work done to make it better quality look , not excellent condition. BUT the food is EXCELLENT- no doubt , halal and the people are nice. I will visit again - I loved the food and the burger taste amazing.
I wanted to refute the comments and rating by mutterchawal. I am not paid to endorse thus restaurant. My husband and I have been coming for the past 7 months at least 3 to 4 times per week. I can honestly say it is one of the best places to eat. They have not raised their prices and are very affordable. They continue to have the same portion size which is rare when a place starts to grow and expand. It's halal. And you get unlimited white sauce. You couldn't ask for a better place to eat!
Update: This place was made for University students but they are continuously raising prices and it has become unaffordable for us. We have stopped eating there this semester because we already have outstanding debts elsewhere. It is a good place to eat but too expensive for the UTA students.
Excellent food, late hours, and great service. We Had the Broadway burger, chicken burger, and the mixed meat over rice plate....everything was fresh and delicious. Burger was a bit messy but nicely loaded. Everything is 100% hand slaughtered zabihah and reasonably priced under $8. I Highly recommend this place for NY style street cart food.
I had the chicken and gyro plate. Reminded me of NY platters when I had it! Really good place and is open until late for those that want. Staff people are nice and helpful for first timers.
Love this place! The service and taste of the food was grade A. Having been born and raised in new york, it\'s tough to find good authentic, delicious halal food when you\'re traveling. Happy to see new york eats serving up quality gyro/chicken mix plates. The real secret and must have is the white sauce/hot sauce. Definitely adds a big kick to an already mouth watering dish. Definitely will be back here again to see the expansion and evolving menu. Hands down a must visit if you\'re in the dallas area!
Great place! Worth a visit.
I am not sure what makes this an Amazingly addictive halal food experience. May be its their sauces or its their perfectly cooked meats. But all I know is I keep going to them when I am in Arlington. They have limited menu choices and everything I tried is great but nothing beats their unique mix plate which is rice topped with different meats, sauces and other things that go well. I would avoid getting a full clan here as the space is very limited and food is too delicious to pass. After a long day at Six Flags don\'t waste money on amusement park junk food and instead go hungry here and inshallah enjoy halal gyros, burgers and fries.
Excellent food and great customer service. I\'d highly recommend this place for some good halal food. Their whit sauce is awesome.
Burgers are really good specially the Broadway burger. Gyro wraps are good as well. Highly recommend this joint for anyone in the area.
Broadway burger is delicious, tender meat cooked to perfection. Chicken and gyro plates are both delicious. Delicious white sauce and multiple hot sauce choices (hot and hotter) depending on your mood. Authentic NY decor inside. Great Service. Made the drive from plano multiple times, definitely plan on going again.
I love this place! Went twice in the same week. Delicious!
Great food! Always so good!
Fantastic food! This is the second restaurant that I had New York platters at and I love it. I would definitely recommend this place to all my halal foodies. 😊
2nd time here like the food just wish it had more space. Biggest thing is the are ZABIHAH!
Service is first class. I would recommend this place for anyone in the area looking for amazing halal food.
2 thumbs up from me. Very happy to see that the halal gyro craze has made it to Dallas area....Mashallah this place has excellent service, a clean and fresh look, great food, and friendly staff. the owner is a New York native and it's nice to see the place decorated to give you the city feel. I highly recommend the mixed plate which comes with rice, lamb gyro and chicken topped with your choice of different sauces (white sauce on point) . Burgers are filling and juicy delicious and cheese fries are a must to have on the side. I will definitely be back soon , inshallah.
Tried the gyro chicken falafel over rice. Also tried the cheese fries and Burger. The burger was really good. The platter was ok. The hot sauce tasted like it was stale but the white sauce was ok. Prices are reasonable and staff is cool, however, the place is really hot and their AC doesnt work. Also, they give you a free drink if you leave a review so that's why a lot of 'stuffing the ballot'
Excellent food and service!
Amazing food. Great people.
Great food. MUST EAT!
Got a mix plate, tastes like NY chicken and rice (but the meat is minced and finely chopped for some reason, they do that at the Austin Halal guys place too, don\'t know why). 1/2 star off because the white sauce wasn\'t quite on point, but I honestly couldn\'t tell till later on when I got home. For all you white sauce fans out there its Vinegar, Yogurt and Mayo, Salt and Pepper and dried mint leaves if you really want, but not needed. No Ranch!
Amazing food. So addictive and at a very reasonable price. The white sauce is fantastic. Definitely recommend it.
Although the price is a bit more expensive in compared to other similar restaurants, but the food and service are excellent!
Tried out this place the other day after hearing a lot about it. Their gyro plate is great!
im doing this for a drink but the food is good
Salaam, nice quiet location just south of UTA campus. Mostly college students. Good menu and liked the New York style. Food was delicious.
Heard good things about this place from some UTA students so decided to check it out. The hype was legit! Had the chicken
They don\'t charge 50 cents extra for each slice of cheese, on their cheeseburgers! Which makes sense, Being new to Texas, this is the first thing you see in burger joints. The Cheese Burgers are well done. I believe, I had the brooklyn cheese burger. Provolone cheese with American cheese. Def hit the spot. The place is really, nicely decorated in the inside, reminds me of the mob movies from back in the days, \"Good fellas\" \"The Godfather\" etc.. Very nice feel to it.. I love the bottled sodas they have, this is one thing, I coudln\'t enjoy at 53rd and 6th \"The halal guys\" it was always a Snapple bottle, or water bottle with my platter. These bottled sodas have a unique taste to them, I always have the Fanta. After the cheese burger, I also had the mix platter! What can i say, very well done, good seasoning and good attention to detail. On top of that, the staff is super friendly, and caring. This is my def go to spot, as long as I\'m in Texas. No other place compares, as the white sauce (proprietary recipe) is one of a kind.. I make sure to take some extra, home =)........ All in all the place to go.. It doesn\'t mater if I\'m in Richardson or Plano, Def worth the trip down!
New york style platters with there own taste. White sauce was great, hot sauce has flavor not as spicy. We also tried broadway burger and patty was juicy and good size. Place is not too big maybe 20 seats total. Overall very good service, everything hot and fresh friendly staff confirmed halal zabihah. We will be back again for sure.
The staff is very friendly, the place is a pretty good spot to eat at, and the food is also pretty good, I wouldn't say they're as great as halal guys, but they are comparable! If you are around the area then give it a try!
Friendly ownership, good food. Not similar to halal guys, but good in it's own right. Definitely reccomend it.
i went here after seeing all the hype on yelp. small restaurant but conveniently near UTA. i haven\'t had halal bros in austin or NY so i can\'t really compare them to this place. my buddy ordered a broadway burger and said it was nothing special. i had a mix plate over rice with chicken and gyro with extra meat. The chicken was okay but the gyro tasted very good. my big querk was that despite ordering extra meat, i felt there was still way more rice than meat. white sauce was good. overall a decent place with friendly service and decent prices but i am not sure if this is a place i would drive 20-30 mins out for.
