Staff has given verbal assurance of halal status.. From the management: 'Everything on the menu is Halal except for the Beef Shish Kabob.'

So I called 5 hours before going there on Saturday night. Whoever picked up he said they close at 10. I live 45 mins from there. I got there at 9 and dumb moron employee said that they are closed. So I was mad. Told him. And then asked him where is another halal restaurant he said "you can eat anywhere as long there is no pork". He told me not to eat pork. I asked him if he's Muslim and off-course says no. So I wonder after hearing this the meat they use is halal. I yelled the hell of that moron who opened the door and walked off.
Limited Halal menu. Seating is nice, you can tell from the mostly non-desi non-middle eastern clientele. Food is on the expensive side. I wasn't particularly impressed for the price. Alcohol is served too. The best item for us was the Kanafe dessert in the end. More halal menu items and more taste would be better.
Good food. Nice ambience not like other desi or Mediterranean restaurants.
The food is really good and it definitely has the nicest atmosphere/seating area in comparison to other Turkish or middle eastern restaurants in Nashville.
