This is a nice clean restaurant. Service is reasonably quick for lunch and there is a wide selection of Middle Eastern and continental choices. I tried their double patty Lamb burger. It was quite good. They offer to \"upgrade\" the fries to garlic fries for $2 that comes with a sauce and some garlic seasoning on top. Overall the food was quite good but not out of the ordinary. The portions, when compared to the price, are not very generous. For example the fries were just a handful and the double burger was on the small side in terms of portion. I spent about $28 on two lunches without ordering any soft drinks or dessert.

What a wonderful little place! Family owned and wonderful service. So, we went there yesterday for dinner and started off with the flavorful Lentil Soup (it came with our entrees). It was perfectly seasoned and delicious and I was left craving for more! My oldest really enjoyed the warm comforting soup, as he was a little under the weather. Then, the Baba Ghanouj...wow! We could taste the smoky eggplant and the paprika made it even better. We just wolfed it down in a matter of minutes. We then ordered three entrees, two Shish Tawook (one Shish entrée was shared amongst 3 of my kids) and one Shish Kabob. I'm not a huge beef fan and my husband said he really liked his beef entrée. As it is with chicken breast meat, my chicken was a little on the dry side but the flavors were wonderful, but a little overly salted. Their Shish Specialty Garlic Sauce was very nice too and complemented the dish perfectly. The place was bustling and busy and the owner's two sons were helping out. The whole atmosphere was that of making guests comfortable and our overall experience was very "homey". Will definitely recommend and go there again.

This is a family owned and operated business that gets it. Food is delicious. Nancy, the chef, is brilliant with her culinary design. You can tell she cooks each plate delicately and with passion. Every plate is perfect (Yes, I have tried everything on the menu!). Service is friendly and warm. The wraps/sandwiches are excellent and filling. The entrees are wholesome and delicious. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. Please stop by and support Shish Grill. You will be glad you did. Halaalgrubber Certified. I recommend.

The food is excellent and 100% halal but they are so slow. If you have time they are good, but if you are on a tight schedule do not go here.

This restaurant is a great Middle Eastern/Mediterranean halal food addition in the Tri-Valley area. Owners are very nice people, food is served very quickly, nice clean, and cozy environment. It is not a full service restaurant, but very close, with the exception of paper plates
