We started in 1984 with a small barbecue restaurant in Kreuzberg, there are now six locations from mid to Spandau Hasir restaurants. Hasir means 'straw carpet' and stands for our rural origin and for good down-home tradition. We are still a family, five brothers and their children manage our affairs.

Delicious food. Esp, hot hummus was amazing. And the dessert called Künefe was out of this world. Went back to eat it again 🤣 Great service too.
We came to Hasır to try authentic Turkish dishes. It’s quite a lively restaurant, but it’s still easy to find an empty table. The staff are generally attentive and friendly. The service is a bit slow; during busy times the kitchen capacity might be insufficient. We tried Adana kebab, İskender, lentil soup, paça soup, şakşuka, and ayran. The prices seem slightly above average. In terms of taste, I liked the İskender the most. I would also say the Adana kebab was above average. The lentil soup was quite successful, whereas the paça soup was not as good as I expected. Even though I added quite a lot of garlic and vinegar, it still had a slight smell. The şakşuka was heated unevenly; the bottom was cold while the top was hot. Flavor-wise, it was average. The ayran was very good; it tasted homemade and had a nicely balanced slight sourness. The İskender plate was served extremely hot — I would have expected the waiter to warn us. I accidentally touched the plate and burned my finger. Thanks for the complimentary tea. Overall, it’s a restaurant I can recommend. It’s worth coming back especially for the İskender and the lentil soup.
Food was really nice 😋 and generous portions too... Atmosphere was quite nice as well. A good turkish place to eat.
For years, this restaurant has been operating at the same corner, with its döner’s flavor and quality continuously improving. It is an excellent restaurant where the döner quality is outstanding. At this location, which has truly become a brand, it offers service at the perfect Turkish standard for every meal.
The döner at Hasır Kreuzberg is absolutely fantastic. Easily one of the best meat döners I’ve ever had, definitely worth 5 stars for the food. The atmosphere is decent, with a nice Kreuzberg vibe. The only downside was the service. While sitting outside, we waited about 10–15 minutes just to order tea and couldn’t even catch anyone’s eye. For that reason, I would give the service 3 stars. Overall, because of the excellent food, I’m giving 4 stars.
