New Kennedy Chicken & Gyro

This is a hole-in-the-wall American fast food restaurant located on Broadway in the Riverdale neighborhood of the Bronx. The restaurant has approximately 5 tables/benches and delivery is available ($8 minimum). Street parking is available along Broadway, but this is the nicer part of the Bronx so you should still leave your Fiat Jolly at home. This reviewer has been to this restaurant once and ordered the chicken tacos and french fries with a drink ($6). Prepared with lettuce, tomatoes, and cilantro, the tacos were fairly bland and uninspired but edible. The french fries tasted pretty familiar as this seems to be one of the many standard-issue halal fried chicken joints, and they were crisp and about as decent as frozen french fries get. This place is probably better for their fried chicken and subs. It\'s worth a visit for a quick meal, but you won\'t impress anyone by bringing them here. 3/5 stars for quality, 4/5 stars for value.
