Only hibachi place in New York City where you can get Halal food upon your request. They let us sit in separate table/stove although it is only 4 of us for 8 person table. The Chinese waitress clearly explains what dishes are halal. (Unfortunately, the beef stake isn\'t available that day) The chef cleans the stove thoroughly before he start cooking. The chef tells us every ingredients before he adds into the stove. The chef are very skillful and hilarious. When he finished serving the food, the chef scrubs and cleans the stove thoroughly again with water and drop lemon. Food is delicious and not very expensive. They adds 18% tip in the bill. Overall, everyone enjoyed the meal and had a nice time with family. I\'ll defiantly go there again.
It\'s a fair place, ask for halal chicken they will get it for you from a halal grocery shop which is next to this this Resturant. If you are still not sure ask them that you will go with them. Try it and leave your comments.
They had very good food. Probably the only Halal hibachi place around. They easily obtain zabiha halal meat from the halal meat store next-door at no extra additional cost. The food is prepared right in front of you so you know that there is no cross-contamination. It is a unique experience, and unlike any other and I would recommend this highly.
I called this restaurant and asked if they served halal food and they said "huh?" so the person gave the phone to someone else and they answered the same way. I then asked a more specific question and they then said yes we can make halal food for you, so then I asked them if they had a separate grill to cook the halal food on and they said "no". Brothers and sisters we should avoid places like this because there cooking on grills that they cook haram meat on such as swine. This is an authentic hadîth related in Sahîh al-Bukhârî and Sahîh Muslim. Abû Tha`labah al-Khushanî said to Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him): "We come from a land populated by the People of the Scripture. Can we eat from their dishes? The Prophet (peace be upon him) replied: "Do not eat from them unless you do not find anything else to eat from. In that case, wash them and eat from them." The wording of the hadîth gives a general prohibition of using such dishes if other dishes are availible, meaning that this prohibition applies even if we know that those dishes are clean and free from impurities. The basic assumption in Islamic jurisprudence would be that the prohibition of the Prophet (peace be upon him) indicates the unlawfulness of doing the prohibited act.
