The place itself is huge and clearly well organised. The kitchen was very busy, but it showed that everyone knew what they were doing, which was reassuring. Staff could have been a little friendlier, though that’s fairly typical for venues of this size. The menu has a great range of options, which is a big plus. Some prices felt a bit steep, but that’s fairly standard these days. That said, the extra $7.50 difference between the chicken and prawn Tom Yum soup felt a little hard to justify, and the $40 steamed/grilled fish was on the pricey side. Food-wise, the Tom Yum soup was average and the chicken was overcooked and had lost its texture. The egg noodles with BBQ beef were okay, though a bit too sweet for my liking. The broth served alongside was a nice touch to balance things out, but it was quite salty, and we did feel noticeably thirsty after the meal. Portion sizes are very generous — we definitely overordered. This feels like a place that’s especially popular for groups, where sharing 4 dishes between 6 people would be more than enough. Overall, a mixed experience with some strong points, particularly for group dining.
