41 Turmstraße, Moabit, Berlin
Bolu is a chain of multi-ethnic groceries in Germany.
A halal sign is clearly visible on the premises. From the website: 'At our meat counter, every day we deliver meat that is not only 100% fresh, but 100% halal'
Score reflects a halal certificate on file.
Not good experience in Fleisch section as some ofstaff dont care about customers or Bolu's reputation..
The staff is very unfriendly. Disappointed...
My favorite for fresh veggies, fruits and spreads. There's a fantastic meat selection too, everything is really good and super fresh. The price is reasonable, and often the best in the surroundings. And close to my home. Just, they close at 8, sometimes too early for me.
Cheap and (not) cheerful. Cheapest place to buy produce in the area and there is a decent selection. Still have to get other bits from nearby shops but I usually fill a large rucksack full of food and it only costs 20 euros. Only downside is, that apart from the odd "danke" or "schön Tag" here and there, the staff don't really smile or talk at all. Sometimes it seems like your very existence is an inconvenience for them. Cheap fruit and veg though.
Very friendly, honest and helpful you get more than what you pay for. Not stingy at all very good example of how to conduct business. I will keep going back and highly recommend this store.
