Zareen's

Zareen\'s has the best Kabob\'s. They are just out of this world. We had Shami Kabob, Galauti Kabob and chicken sizzler with Parathas. All of us agreed that we never had such kabobs in our life. Even though the place is small, it has the nice ambience. There is some seating outside as well.

These is more of a fast food place without proper Grill etc. I had Chicken Tikka Masala Thali, the food is decent but nothing out of ordinary. Their service is excellent though.

One of the best restaurants with amazing food . It's a small restaurant but menu and presentation is quite unique with excellent quality , good price and quick service . They also offer halwa puri on weekends 11am-3 pm .

Great food! Felt like a true home cooked meal, unlike the typical Pakistani restaurant where you feel a little sick/bloated from the oil. The actual restaurant is quite small, so may not be the place for big crowds.

Very tasty and delicious food. I had chicken boti with meal and the samosas. That green chatni with samosas was just awesome! And finally kabab roll in paratha was fresh and full of spicy filling.

Had the Punjabi Chicken Burger. Was slightly undercooked, but was still good. Also had the beef shami kababs which was really good. The masala fries are good and so is the mango lassi! Interior decor is nice with a lot of books (you can tell the owner likes reading:)) and has a cozy feel inside. There is some additional seating outside on some wooden benches under a canopy which is good for a hot day or warm night in Mountain View!

Had Lunch here.. tried the chicken shami kabab that comes with rice/small nan piece/some salad cost $9.99.. the shami's were good though the dal/rice combo did not go with it... Halwa Puri special on weekends $7.99 with nice fluffy poori and chana/potato sabzi was definitely good,lastly paratha chicken $4.99 is a small portion though tasty... small place for dine-in..around 5-6 tables.. a bit mild for the desi tongue though the food is refreshingly different than the tradional outside.. would wish to see an expanded menu and added spice.. definitely worth a visit and the owner is pleasant to interact with!

We ordered out from Zareen's yesterday. Gola Kababs. Chilli Burgers. Daal. Shami Kababs. The food was absolutely delightful. Fresh ingredients. Well paired flavors and tastes. Cooked to perfection. In an earlier visit I tried their Grilled Chicked Salad with fresh orange, and that was just mind-boggling. Really, really good. It's been a long, long time coming, but I'm really glad to see Zareen's bring something new to the Indo/Pak food scene. They are new and innovative from the ground up. From their ambience and hospitality, the literary immersion, the expression in their décor to ofcourse the uniqueness of their food. Zareen's is really good at mixing flavors and creating that "pop" in their dishes. Their meals are really enjoyable. Good food.

A great addition to the Bay Area diverse cuisine... unique in taste and ambiance. Menu highlight on our first visit was the chicken burger, gola kabab and chicken tikka role/wrap. Good taste and fine ingredients. Second visit was over lunch and introduced us to Shami kabab with lentil daal and rice. Again nice flavor and a touch of home cooking. Tea comes complimentary with all meals and perhaps one of the best around.

So first of all, I love the ambiance of this place. I mean there are books on one wall and beautiful chalk art on the other! Next their food is really amazingly authentic and fresh. It takes time to get your food so order an appetizer - they are making everything from scratch. Whatever you do dont miss their gola kabab and paratha. I love their punjabi burger and beef shami kabab too. Everything tastes homecooked and made from scratch. And their mango lassi is crazy good. The owner and staff are super-friendly. This is one of the best halal meals in the valley I have had.

Never Again. Not teething problems, here they have toileting problems. They have none. Toilets, not teeth. Surely a 'food activist' know a thing or two about digestion. Clueless person at the register assured me nonspicy meal for my son and lo and behold it was the spiciest dish on the table The chicken tikka wrap and shammi kabab burgers were mediocre. Excellent food.. tried their Punjabi Burger with Fries, Gola Kababs and Chicken Skewers. All the dishes were amazing.

I've been here 3 times and really love the place! So far my wife and I have ordered the beef gola kabab and punjabi burger and loved both. They were kind enough to pack the food for an airplane flight for us. This is on my favorites list. I strongly recommend the beef gola kabab. The owners are great and the place is small but very clean and has personality. Chai (free) is some of the best I've ever had.

this is a great discovery we made last week. best Pakistani or Indian food for miles. their kababs are very, very tasty. the spice level is a little mild but they give spicy chutney on the side if you want. We had their shami kabab and chicken tikka masala and both very amazing. But their gola kabab is the signature item. We had gola kabab plate with paratha of course - they also gave us a complimentary sheermal as well. We also got their kabab paratha roll. too good! And really friendly staff and owner. you can feel the love of good food and of good ingredients.

Love the authenticity and freshness of the kababs and curry dishes. Addicted to their gola kabab paratha. Great lunch meals with excellent daal.

Me and my wife just had a dinner there it was excellent place to eat. Food was very good and fresh. I had Gola kabab and Punjabi Chicken Burger. Don't forget to drink Mango Lassi it was Amazing.

Stopped by for take away and was very impressed by the freshness and quality of the food. Gola kabab was very tasty, right amount of spice (I asked for spicy) with a fantastic chutney. The chicken paratha roll was good, but I thought it had a little too much onion. Daal and naan also very good. Very nice people -- this place is a hole in the wall and easy to miss, but very good.
