Just had dinner here. The food was really really bad. Barely edible? Not edible? Stay away... Seriously. We paid 30 euros for 2 people and were disappointed but had no choice because it appears to be the only \"halal\" place near the dam square... There actually are many, just not yet listed here. The owners are complacent and it is shame that muslims would run such a shoddy establishment. Shame!

Decided to stop in here and check try my first Shawarma experience, whilst sitting on the street and people-watching. The bloke working there was friendly and served up our food pretty quickly. Presentation-wise it was okay, I didn't expect much more from this type of shop. Shawarma was tasty but it was my first and only one since. It wouldn't measure up to a kebab though! Couldn't say if it was reasonably priced as everything seems pricey in Amsterdam, but I didn't have any complaints. I would say worth a look if you're feeling like middle-eastern food!
