Halal fish and chips and other variety of fast food. Located behind Poon Saan shops, this tucked away place does surprisingly good fish "˜n' chips. The fish is cooked tempura style in a light batter which melts in your mouth, and the chips are cooked well, not too crispy and not too soft. The grilled fish is just as good, and the fish burgers are also worth a try.

GoogleDelicious fish and chips for a reasonable price! $20 (reasonable for island prices) for and generous portion of fresh-caught wahoo and a big pile of chips- the fish pieces are huge and easily make 2 meals. Always made with local wahoo caught fresh that morning- definitely a must-try on Christmas Island.
