On the recommendation of a family member of the owners of this beautiful building, we reserved a table for two at this newly opened restaurant in Enschede. What an experience and what an ambiance! We felt very welcome; our coats were taken and we were escorted to the conservatory, where we could choose a table. The service was courteous, and we chose a tournedos (Marlon Brando) and a plate of oven-baked snails with vegetables. Both dishes were excellent. We shared a delicious dessert (pecan pie) and enjoyed the house coffee at the bar. The decor alone beckons you to take a look inside this beautiful restaurant. You'll have to experience the taste for yourself, but it's definitely recommended! Shabeng is a must for anyone looking for an excellent meal in a beautiful setting in Enschede!
