This is the best halal place I've ever eaten at in the Schenectady area. It's delicious Moroccan food, a cool Moroccan modern decor, nice ambiance, etc. We talked to the owner and she said that all the meat is halal because her family eats halal (she said salam to us when we entered and we noticed there was a hijabi working in the kitchen). However, they do serve alcohol. So for those who never enter any restaurant that serves alcohol (and most restaurants do), this place is not for you. Otherwise, for everyone else, it was refreshing to see that there was finally a cool place to eat where we could order anything off of the menu. We were happy with how everything tasted, and we couldn't believe how low our bill was. Five stars!
