This is a completely halal Indian/Pakistani restaurant serving vegetarian and non-vegetarian South Asian cuisine in a cafeteria style setting. Despite the tight confines, there are six tables, seating a total of 18 customers. However, it\'s a bit cramped and you probably want to get take-out from here. There is street parking on 2nd Ave and its side streets, but given the pockmarked warzone-like streets, you probably want to leave the hand-built 2001 BMW Z8 with the 400hp S62 4.9 liter V8 (shared with the legendary E39 M5) and 6-speed manual transmission at home. The keema paratha ($4, a thin fried bread with seasoned ground chicken inside) is decent but won\'t be mistaken for home made. Similarly, the chicken kababs ($4 for two, seasoned ground chicken shaped into a kabab and baked) were decent but not award winning. The chai ($1) had the right depth of flavor and milkiness and would be favored by those who prefer a simple tea rather than one flavored with cardamom, etc. This is a great place to drop by for lunch or dinner.
