When I entered there was no Halal sign or certificate, I asked the workers and they didn\'t even know what \'Halal\' meant! there is no mention of the food being Halal on their website, and when I called and finally got reply, I asked if the food was Halal and the man on the phone said yes, and I asked other question but he simply hung up on me! such shubha restaurant. Unfortunately there isn\'t any Halal restaurant on USC campus :(

This restaurant is very good. and even more than that, it's really convenient for students, being the only halal eating place on campus. The food tastes a little more American and less Indian but I suppose that's attractive in its own way. I prefer the chicken tikka masala to the vindaloo, which feels a bit stuffy at times. If you're a USC student, your ID will get you a discount.
