The food at Dijlah is delicious and fairly priced! I always start with the generous sampler appetizer plate because I love the creamy baba ganoush and the two kinds of tabouli salad. I also like the mendi chicken and warm saj sandwiches. In addition to the excellent food, I really like the middle eastern decor and hot tea, which makes me feel like I\'m in a familiar place.

Tried this place in dec 2015 with a large group of friends. Loved the food and the service. The Iraqi kababs were awesome. loved the beef iraqi kababs better than the chicken ones. also, tried the kuzi lamb shank. it was cooked very well but the taste was just ok. overall we all loved it.

I went tot his place recently for their Iftar buffet. This place has recently been through an ownership change. The owners are well known Muslims who went above and beyond to insure the food is halal (showed me certificates from vendors). The food is excellent, great ambiance and service. They added fresh juice smoothies that are very refreshing/delicious, try the dijlah smoothie. There is also a very nice hookah lounge in the back. Wonderful place, I would recommend it to anybody and I will definitely be back.

Great food, great ambiance and family oriented sitting area. Brothers who work there are very nice and good Muslims. One of the few authentic Halal places in town. Make sure you get the Iraqi kabob and their special dishes.

The Iraqi kabob and Chicken tawook are good. The serving quantity seems a bit less as we have to order one extra meal for a family. Plenty of sitting area and nice decor. Parking might be a problem if you visit around 7. Overall its good addition in Pittsburgh limited zabihah market.

The food here is great, especially the Iraqi kebab. It is some of the most authentic and genuinely good Iraqi kebab I have ever had. The chicken wings are also very good as well as the chicken shish kebab. We didn't get a chance to try the shawarma, but we will definitely be returning to try them and a few other things, inshaAllah.

This restaurant is located on a busy street in the neighborhood of Lawrenceville. They have a very welcoming decor and there were a bunch of families sitting and eating there when I went. I did not have a chance to sit there and eat so I ordered out. I ordered the beef shish kabob and the Iraqi kabob along with the mixed appetizer plate. The beef shish kabob was not the tastiest (needs more spices), but it was cooked perfectly. I loved the Iraqi kabob. It was so flavorful and juicy. I would definitely try that if you go here. I don't think the mixed appetizer plate is worth it because there was only one or two appetizers I really liked on it. There is street parking available if you need to park your car, but it is a really busy area, so you may need to park on side streets. I definitely want to return and actually eat in the next time I go!

I gotta say, maybe the best kababs I had in a long time. Very juicy, tender and perfectly seasoned. The mixed appetizer plate (hummus, tabbouleh, baba ghanoj, ...) was ok. A little pricey in all. Street parking. Friendly staff.

Food is delicious ESP all Kababs ! The ambience is traditional Arabic one and is impressive! They must improve service which is terribly slow !

Located in an up and coming cultural neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Dijlah provides your typical Middle Eastern grille style menu, though provides the ambience of an Istanbul oasis.

Excellent restaurant. I ordered thier Dijlah dish for 3 persons and the dish is very delicious. I also ordered grape leaves, humus, and Tabuleh. Mashallah really a good place to go to especially for those who like Iraqi cuisine and you'll enjoy the Iraqi tea and the hookah booka.
