Lamb is among the parts of their menu that is halal and happens to be my favorite meat. The dish they served me was succulent and their presentation was beautiful. They have nice patio outside that is decorated with lots of plants and vines so that in the summer it is a beautiful place to eat in the shade. They also serve hookah at this establishment.

I've never tried Lebanese before. I went in with a completely open mind, save for my repulsion to white meat chicken. I asked an employee his favorite, and went with that. It was a combo plate, and I missed the fact that chicken was one of the 3 meats, so some of it went to waste, but the other 2 meats were gyro and I think beef, or maybe lamb. It was amazing. It came with rice under the kabob, veggies with the chicken, and a whole heap of gyro meat, which I happily devoured. The soup was a lentil soup, served with some crunchy breads. Totally new flavors, except the gyro, btdt, but the rest of it was new to me, with the seasonings, and it was an adventure for my mouth. I highly recommend it!

This is an order at the counter, they bring food but you do the drinks and silverware kind of place. The food was amazing! The place was packed with limited seating in the small restaurant. We had hummus, lamb, gyro, grape leaves, and sampler. All very good. We had to ask for the soda to be replaced and it took a while. We had to pick up our own silverware and they were so busy it was limited. Only had two restrooms and neither had a child friendly place to change a diaper. Overall disappointed in atmosphere but made up in food.

Great little place for Mediterranean food. My gyro salad was huge! Unfortunately they were out of beef Sharma, but the gyro is very good. The meat is nicely seasoned but a little dry. The sauce was creamy, flavorful but not overpowering. The atmosphere is decorated on theme, but the place is tiny. We were there during lunch and the order line was full and tables in demand. I need to study the menu before I go back. This is the kind of place I bet has some hidden gems.

Honestly, El Basha is the best Mediterranean food I’ve ever had. There’s something special about this place. We ordered a mezze sampler and the El Basha special, and both were absolutely amazing. The hummus and babaganuj were bursting with flavor, and the meat was divine. The kafta was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Don’t miss out on the best Mediterranean food in Omaha.

El Basha is an absolute hidden gem! Truly some of the best food in all of Omaha. The lentil Soup to start kicked off this meal with absolute delicious depth of flavor. The Greek salad is always fresh with perfectly toasted pita. The Gyro, the Shawarma, and the kebabs are all must try. El Basha makes some of the absolute best cauliflower around and it is a must try. This is one of the best Mediterranean experiences, the service is excellent for such a small restaurant and the food never fails. An absolute must try in Omaha.

Loved my meal here. Ordered the beef kabobs with the house salad. The salad was delicious: a crisp spinach base dressed with a bright citrusy oil, with mixed veggies of cherry tomato, cucumber and red onion. The salad is topped off with a noticeable spice blend that adds a savory sparkle to the citrus. Loved it. The beef kabobs come on a bed of rice accompanied by grilled veggies. It was delicious and had a distinct sweetness to it that I attribute to the tahini sauce. My one complaint is that the beef was extremely well done, but I had ordered it medium rare. Not sure why they ask how well you want it if they are just going to cook it to the extreme anyways. The place was very busy when visiting on a Saturday night. They do a brisk carryout business with folks coming in and out nearly constantly to pick up orders. Despite that, I was still comfortably seated in the dining area since they have a pretty efficient seating layout (although they could do without the 3 seat bar that no one used while I was there). It's a very high energy place with quick service and good food for a decent price.
