I was in Santo Domingo for work a few weeks back and decided to make a trip to Marhaba. It was a bit difficult to find, but well worth the trip. My first visit I had the chicken biryiani which was excellent. My second visit I had a delicious chicken curry with roti and a huge perfectly prepared shami kebab. The quality of the food and prices were great. Run by a Pakistani family that has been in Santo domingo for over 10 years. It is on the same street as the mosque and only open on weekdays. Really a hidden gem in a city where there are no other halal options.
