About Lion City Café
Located in the Kumho Asiana Plaza. Lion City Cafe & Restaurant, headed by Mr. Harry Ang is the first restaurant in Vietnam that offers authentic Singapore frog porridge. We started operation in May 2006 under the name Original Singapore Frog Porridge with three small eateries selling just the famous frog porridge.

Food is average. Claimed yo be halal but they sell frog legs! Muslim be cautious. There is a halal certificate issued by religious council but, as far as I know, there is no Islamic religious council in Vietnam. Owner is not a Muslim.

Right next to our hotel. We went for dinner. Mix of Singaporian foods i guess. Food was decent, good to ahve halal meat in vietnam. nothing was amazing, nothing was poor. Decent meal.

We had lunch in this restaurant on our last day in Ho Chi Minh City. So lucky to be served again.....by Chef Panumas! Vietnam Iron Chef 2012! As before, very entertaining performance and very delicious meals. Superb!
