There is no sign in the window that says they are halal. Upon asking the staff has given us verbal assurance on ONLY the lamb. Food was okay otherwise.

The most flavorful Chicken Shawarma I've eaten in California! We overlooked this listing because of no reviews - but stumbled upon this restaurant when we stopped at Bakersfield to go to Juicy burger (which btw does not serve halal meat - read my review on juicy burger). We were pleased to see the halal sign in the window and went right in to grab some bites. Ended up ordering kibbeh and the chicken shawarma combo. Extremely delicious food. Went crazy over the pickle bar. Nowhere else in the US have I seen such generous servings of pickles with shawarma (which was so common back in the Middle East). This message is for the owners - please set up your restaurant in the Bay Area and I assure you you'll have a huge fan following. The flavors are Jordanian and I can't stress enough on how delicious the meal was!
