About Pita Inn
The legendary Pita Inn Restaurants have been a landmark in the Chicagoland area since 1982 when owner Falah Tabahi opened the first Pita Inn Restaurant on Dempster Street in Skokie, Illinois. From day one, Pita Inn offered delicious, affordable, and quality Mediterranean food as a unique alternative to traditional fast food. Pita Inn Skokieıs success encouraged us to reach out to our growing customer base and open more locations, including Pita Inn Wheeling in 1992, Pita Inn Glenview in 2003, and Pita Inn Mundelein in 2013. Falah and his family continue to run the Pita Inn Restaurants in addition to the Pita Inn Market and Bakery, which were opened in 1998.

Love it. Awesome food - everything is zabihah halal now. We love the chicken shawarma and kofta kababs.

We love going to Pitta inn for years. Though this location is new but they are serving Chicago area for years. Owners are Arab Muslims. Chicken and lamb are only halal as per staff. I don't know what stooping them to have full halal menu. Business lunch special is 4:99$ Monday to Friday is very reasonably priced. I love their tamarind juice, a must try. Food is always fresh.

Went there for a business lunch, had their lamb sandwich as that and chicken shawarma are only halal. It was fresh and tasty and the garlic sauce and hot sauce put a nice taste to it. will definitely go back if in the area

Nice clean and friendly place. I asked cashier if meat is Halal. She responded affirmative while looking at other man (as if she wasn't sure) who said only lamb and chicken are halal. I just had chicken as I was little skeptical. Platter tastes really good though.

We visited this place few times during our Chicago Trip. Excellent place to eat lunch or dinner. The owner is very customer oriented. The place is ver clean. The service is very fast and prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend.
