I know I should have written this review long back but as they say \'Better late than never\'. We had several unpleasant incidents with this takeout place that now we have placed this place in our personal \'Blacklist\' list. So here is our latest ordeal: Sept 08 2018: We called this place around 8:25PM and asked for lamb biryani. Were told that its over and instead we asked the guy to keep 4 chicken biryanis on hold and told him that we\'ll be there in 30 to 45 mins as we had to come all the way from Oshawa to Pickering. We reached there around 9 PM and were astonished to hear that there is no biryani. The lady cleaning the counters went in to the kitchen and came out with some rude guy who instead of being apologetic seems to come on to defensive and blamed us instead of not being clear on phone. I don\'t know how else could we have been more clear than to tell him \"to keep 4 chicken biryani\'s for us\" and gave him my name for him to hold these. Well this was not the first such incident with them, the same thing happened to us TWICE in 2017! Thats why i mentioned that we should have written this review long back. We had boycotted this place for around 6 to 9 months then but then again there are very few South Asian takeout places in Durham Region so had to give in but not this time. As I said this place is now blacklisted and I have communicated the same in all my firend/family groups. Just don\'t be fooled by them, they may have Muslim names and have beard and head scarves and all but they are nothing but a bunch of liars nothing else. They are the people who bring bad name to this religion. The worst part was the rude behavior and being un-apologetic about their behavior which really pissed me off. NO MORE SILVERSPOON PICKERING! I went there twice both time got disappointed:( the curries are not fresh at all, the Naan was from last night but just warmed up and become elasticky, they are catering business so don't really care about individual customers who place one or two orders. I will not go there again doesn't matter what I need

Great take out place - quality is consistent. They have some good deals during the week days. Food is fresh and greasy (in a good way)!

went in last week for the first time for a take out order. Ordered the rice with 2 sides special. Wanted rice, butter chicken and karaih chicken, 2 naans. Placed the order on the phone for take out. Got there, man behind the counter takes a takeout container and puts some rice in it, then reaches for the butter chicken, but i see only 1 container and am thinking is he going to put butter chicken and karai chicken and rice all on top in one container? I stop him and ask for separate containers for the butter chicken and karai chicken. he says they dont do that. i tell him id like separate containers so that it is easier for heat up as well as I ordered 2 naans so that I can eat it separately with naan and then with rice after. he tells me its policy not to put separate unless I get 2 orders of butter chicken. With no other choice with my car running outside I tell him okay. (at this point I wanted to cancel the order but I had already paid for it) Ate the food at home, rice was way too less for the order size. butter chicken tasted too tomato like, naan was good. out of 10: Service: 6.5 Ambeince: 8 Value:6.5 peeved about the simple container thing, probably wont go back because of it, they were almost closing, i didn't see it as a big deal but obviously they have enough business not to care about the little guy.
