Got the beef shawarma sandwich and falafel. Both tasted good. The falafel were not dry like a lot of places. I got one of the sandwiches with fries, to my surprise, it included salad and hummus as well. Second time I am here; will definitely return.

Located on the periphery of Georgetown, George\'s serves typical Middle Eastern cuisine, including appetizers (hummus, baba ganoush, tabouleh, etc.), kabobs (chicken, kefta, lamb), shawarma (beef and chicken), and gyros. And cheesesteaks. The menu states it is halal and the staff assured this reviewer that the entire menu is halal. Seating downstairs is tight but there seems to be more up the narrow stairs. Street parking is available but can be a bit tight, so better leave the 2019 Miata GT-S in Soul Red Crystal at home. The George\'s Cheesesteak ($12 for a 12\") is perhaps the best halal cheesesteak this reviewer has had -- get it as the special(+$3) with french fries, pickled turnips, and hummus/baba ganoush/or tahini. The beef shawarma sandwich ($8) has perfectly grilled beef in a tightly spun wrap, also worth getting as the +$3 special. Overall, this is fantastic no-nonsense, all-halal, late-night Middle Eastern restaurant worthy of repeat visits.

First of All the service sucks waited almost 15mins then he took my order even there was no one in line. They took almost 30mins to get sandwich ready. If you know them then you will be the first even you the last one. There friends came in and they made their order first. Second, to be honest the food taste was not bad. The quantity was less. I mean i paid $12 for little fries small cheesesteak sandwich and a cane of soda.

It's just opened, so I'm gonna give it a break and give them 1 more star than I would've wanted (now up to 4 stars). Food was relatively bland and small portions. Pricing is not bad. I had the falafel sandwich pretty dry, but came with nice toppings) and the shawarma (small, very little meat, tasted good but not that well). Inshallah a little more work and this place will be booming! Larger portions, more meat/falafel, and more taste!
