At this altitude, it's logical that the prices are higher. But it's delicious and the service is very friendly
Very good experience. The place is amazing and the team is friendly. Definitely recommend. The view is breathtaking. 💕🙏 Thanks
The only truly positive aspect of this restaurant is the view. But for that you don’t need to spend your money. We made a reservation for 4, table at the window. The restaurant was not busy at all, the music was moderately loud. The quality of the food was definitely not worth the price. 89€ for a 4 course meal would be a bargain IF the food was at least excellent. The starter was okay, the soup was questionable. Sure you can say that it’s a matter of taste but it did taste like it was burnt. The main also had a funny taste to it, that you could sell as gourmet for sure but it’s just isn’t… The dessert was fine. The staff is overly friendly what didn’t help at the end when the check arrived and they added a 15€ fee for “decoration” which included the cheap paper tablecloth and a helium balloon which by the way we didn’t ask for. Had we not had the “decoration” we would have gotten a table without the tablecloth which at the price point is not acceptable for me. If you claim to be a certain Niveau I would expect to get a damn tablecloth free of charge on those raggedy old scratched up tables! The chairs were also uncomfortable and be aware that a fancy restaurant like that will give you paper napkins as well to match the 15€ paper tablecloth. We were excited to dine here and maybe go back in the summer to enjoy more of the view of the city and the “gourmet” experience but not under the current conditions. You can have a much better dining experience in Cologne at a much reasonable price point and excellent service where the food actually is worth the money and deserves to be called gourmet. Be smart, save your money and stay away from Osman.
Best view of Cologne. Booking online was easy, it was not busy as it was a Tuesday. Food was great, the hazelnut spread that comes with some dishes is amazing. There is a big outside space, however when we visited it was not open due to bad weather.
Food was good, but not excellent. Extremely limited choice on the menu). Service was below expectations given the allure that the restaurant tries to convey. An unacceptable thing was paper napkins and a visibly ruined table (with no tablecloth), which brought drastically down the perception that one has of this restaurant. View was obviously amazing, but location isn’t everything! Expect to spend 70/80€ per person on average.
