Amazing location in Port of Spain, quiet, safe and close to everything. Very basic accomodation, backpacker style, but in a really pretty old Victorian style house that reminded me of New Orleans/Charleston. Budget priced compared to other hotels in Port of Spain. The folk that run the place are super nice and friendly/reasonable. The hotel has a wrap around second story porch, and there is a proffesional steel drum practice area down the block, so if you are lucky you can sit out and hear them practicing. Awesome Caribbean vibe and experience for a traveler.
