Good but pricey

This place serves truly beautiful pizza. We got three pizzas--a simple pepperoni pizza, the buffalo chicken pizza, and the carne asada pizza. All the pizzas are beautiful. My brother and I loved the pepperoni pizza. Simple, a classic, but it was by far our favorite. The carne asada and buffalo chickens pizzas we were far less enthusiastic about, though that could be just us. Other people at the restaurant were loving their specialty pizzas. This is a cool place. If you\'re nearby, definitely check it out.

Amazing place. Wings, pizza , and bbq sandwitches are excellent. Nice and clean place as well! Came here from the valkey and was absolutely worth it.

Their food is just on another level. The pizzas, wings and ribs just awesome.

Hands down the best pizza I\'ve ever had. Everything here is excellent; you can\'t go wrong with anything you order. I highly recommend the cheeseburger pizza, the brisket sandwich, and the wings. This is pricier than the average pizza joint, but it is absolutely worth every penny. You won\'t regret it!

We tried the BBQ pizza, sweet and spicy wings and the beef brisket sub is amazing! Friendly service, Zainab was very helpful!

Brisket sandwich is really good. Recommended. Sweet and spicy wings are really good. Ribs were ok and pricey ($18.99 for 3 ribs, side of coleslaw and cheesy bread). Good service.

Awesome place for american halal cuisine. We had wings, brisket sandwich, bbq ribs, pizza---all of them were awesome.

Excellent food and I agree with the other reviewer, they are not joking about spicy because it is super spicy even for desi's.

Their wings are the best, try the habanero flavour if you can stand spicy. Overall a great menu of pizzas, subs, starters and wings. Their motto ALL HALAL ALL THE TIME is very reassuring and the service is great. Support these true Muslims rather than the chancers Lamajoon.

Pizza is decent. Ribs were alright. Alot of fat on the ribs so didnt get much for 3 ribs at 15 bucks. Wings are good just stay away from the spicy ones if you cant handle it as they are indeed spicy. All in all I give it a 3. Maybe im a bit more picky since I have had ribs and pizza from other halal places across the country. Locally its about as good as it gets when it comes to ribs. Pizza is good cuzz everything is halal. Lets support them as mich as we can. Nice people tho and prompt service.

Do yourself a favor and check this place out. If you are far away, it\'s worth every bit of traffic you sit through to get there. If I could rate this place a 6 or a 7 it would deserve it. It has become one of our favorite halal restaurants in the US (possibly my wife\'s absolute favorite). We have had halal ribs across the country and these were by far the best. We have never had halal brisket anywhere - Big Al\'s has a brisket that they smoke for 16 hours before they turn it into the most flavorful, tender, delicious sandwich I have ever had. The wings were super spicy and delicious. We tried the meat lovers pizza and the Mexican pizza (with halal chorizo!) and both were excellent. I have never done this before, but I actually called after the meal and told the owner how much we enjoyed the food. Service was punctual and despite the place being very busy, the owner and staff were very friendly. If youre in LA or visiting LA, this should be your first stop.

I wish I could have tasted the pizza, but I was too far from home and being alone with only a few hours to spare, I could not buy a whole pie and finish it. I bought a beef brisket sandwich which was very tasty. The restaurant is clean and the service is also friendly and efficient.

Pizza and ribs are very good. Been here a few times when in the area and haven't been disappointed yet. Shame it's pretty far from where I live otherwise I'd be back more often.

Awesome Rib's and Pizza is great

We went to Big Al's twice during a week-long trip to SoCal. The owner is SO nice and was very accommodating to our large group (20 people). The food was delicious - the beef brisket sandwich was to die for and the pizza was so good. We also ordered the wings which were very good. I "liked" their facebook page and the only downside is that now I see pictures of beautiful pizzas that I can't have! Can't wait to go back.

I am sitting here at Big Al's just got done eating. I can't tell you enuf how great everything is. I had order sweet n spicy wings and BBQ ribs. Wings were saucy and Double Delicious. Ribs was so juicy and flavorful. We also had a Burger Pizza to go. Wife had a brisquet sandwich. I rate this place 5 bc that is the most it's asking me to rate. Customer Service is. A Food Quality and Presentation. A Atmosphere kind a small, but they're expanding next week. Will come back to this place even thou this was an hr drive.

I had lunch here today and the food was nothing short of delicious! I ordered the bbq chicken pizza and sweet and spicy wings. The food was mouthwatering, fresh, and full of flavor! I even ordered food to go and when I re heated the food, it was still really flavorful. The service is excellent! The staff is very down to earth and friendly. I will definitely return here again soon!

I visited this place sometime back (8 Months ago if I'm not wrong). They are nice people and pizza is good too. Tried the Ribs and they were nice as well. I am giving this 4 stars and not three because its Halal

Masaha allaha I use to own a pizza joint before and I never was satisfied with the commersial pizza places, but this pizza is good I mean really good And the ribs are great, my wife prefers the brisket sandwich Keep it up Support muslim business

All what I can say is this place is the best Halal pizza resturant in Southern California ! Both pizza and wings are from another planet !

I came to Big Al's for the first time last week. I'm not sure what the difference is between this one and the one down the street. The restaurant was clean (though a bit small... however the owner and employees were extremely accommodating and brought out chairs for us from inside!). The staff was extremely friendly and generous. And the food was on point. The garlic bread and pizza are absolutely delicious (and not too mention super cheap). I would definitely come back here and bring my friends as well. Aside from being halal, the best part is definitely the service of the staff! Also, I overheard the owner offering to keep the restaurant open for extended hours upon request, which is really awesome!

The ribs. It's all about the ribs. If you are a ribs lover, you will love their beef ribs. I don't think you'll find halal ribs anywhere else in LA. Aside from their ribs, try their Big Al's specialty pizza. It's one best pizzas I've had masha'Allah. Also there beef brisket is excellent. It's got a small sitting area, so don't take a large group to eat there.

Been here a few times when I visit my client in that neighborhood. It's actually good pizza and good wings and other items. My staff seemed to like their meat lovers pizza and wings the most and definitely said its better then most chains like Dominoes down the street. Great service but a pick up kind of location. Will definitely continue to visit as long as they carry the halal meats.

We have been here for a few times now and we enjoyed it since the first visit. The food is fresh and delicious and the chef is awesome! I would definitely recommend this place to everyone too.

I stopped here last night 12/1/12, and ordered a pizza, only one word describes my experience at this place.....SUPERB! The food was fresh, the place was very clean and the staff was professional and friendly, any Muslims in the area need to stop by and support this business. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
