About Taste of Pakistan

The food here is very good. Their Chapli Kebabs are absolutely awesome. The chicken karahi, lamb karahi, kabli pilau and deal must be tasted. It's a family friendly restaurant. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Best of all is the price. It is so affordable and portions are of a good size. Definitely make a booking before turning up so as not to be disappointed.

Their service is really poor and offended ,disgraceful and rude. If you have some respect and want to enjoy a food specially with family in respectable and good customer service environment never try this hotel in a life. Last night , went there with family , we booked a table in advance , we got a table and just after a minute ,waiter came and said leave this table , When I asked the reason , he said they have a booking of nine people and they need to arrange this table for them and forced us to leave the table and stand out side the hotel to wait for 30-60 mins for next table . When I said we will not leave this table as we have booked this in advance . He fiercely pull the table and said ok then and find another hotel . I went to speak with manager of the hotel about his behaviour and this situation .I was really shocked after listening the remarks from Manager . Response of manager was ridiculous , he Told me he don't care if Whole Reading city will not come in his hotel , his way of talking was too much abusive ,he used most of time (street language words ) word during my conversation with manager . The way they treated us , I will never forget this insult in my whole life

***AVOID AT ALL COSTS*** I have been to this restaurant quite a few times with friends and it is a no frills restaurant, which is ok for a cheap night out with friends. Do NOT go there is you are expecting courtesy or customer service. Went there tonight with Mum as it is Mother's day, had booked a table for the family in advance. We sat down and ordered our food, 20 minutes later, we were asked to move tables to one next to the door and as it was bitterly cold, we decided to remain where we were. The staff were very rude to us from then onwards and after our meal refused to give us the complimentary green tea and almonds which they were giving to other customers. I spoke to the owner, who obviously is a woman hating pathan and his attitude was: "well, tough, don't come here again". Needless to say, we won't be going there again!
