My favorite Indian restaurant in town. Small selection of authentic Indian buffet. Food is fresh, tasty, and flavorful. The lamb curry is the only lamb curry in town that isn\'t covered with bones. Prices are fare. Owners are known Muslims that are very kind and have been part of our community for many years. Will come again in Sha Allah.

Have been here twice so far and both times it has been a great experience. The whole staff cares about your experience and they deserve to be talked about. Had the boti kebab and the nehari. Great dishes. Will go back and try new things next time.

On our way passing through Baton Rouge we happened to select this restaurant based on the reviews and the fact that the halal restaurant down the street was also serving alcohol. Not being a large party, we ordered off the menu and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was the freshest we'd ever encountered. Not just hot but you could clearly see that they had made it from scratch. It took a few more minutes than normal but it was well worth the wait. Going by how many people were in the restaurant at the time, Baton Rouge you have a treasure and you don't even know it! I don't know if I'll ever drive by Baton Rouge again, but if I do I'll definitely stop by without checking for any other joint.

Overall food was delicious. The chicken needed to be washed or seasoned better because it had a strong gamy taste. Would def go back, but it was a little pricey according to my standards.

Very nice place with great tasting food. I only tried buffet which did not have much selection but everything was delicious. Bread was very good as well except it came close to the end. It says at the entrance to wait to be seated but doesn't work that way. They should take off that sign. Service did not start very well but got better later on. Owner was present, making sure everybody was having a good time. Will definitely go back!

Never really wrote on zabihah.com until now, I think its a good idea to share experiences to inform consumers... Anyhow the naan is good with variety during buffet...but wasnt really all that good with the curries...and dessert was highly disappointing...but it is halal...sigh. HOWEVER we did find a HALAL rest named INDIA'S PLACE...the buffet is EXCELLENT! BETTER THAN I HAVE HAD IN HOUSTON EVEN :) VERY VERY PLEASENTLY SURPIRSED>>>PLEASE add this rest to your halal zabihah webpage I have confirmed with the owners although they are hindu...they are selling halal meat. YOU MUST TRY the buffet at INDIA PLACE
