Great taste. Authentic Pakistani food. Although interior can be more bright. Live music pretty loud and not at all good - more a headache.

GoogleAkbar's Restaurant Mistakes 1. Loud music and noise during meals 2. Excessive restaurant decor that makes the entrance feel cramped and the lighting inadequate 3. Liquor is located at the entrance despite the restaurant adhering to halal principles 4. Male staff members have an appearance inappropriate for family restaurants and formal workplaces, such as wearing earrings, bracelets, or having tattoos 5. Upon entering, a staff member told us, "Try to finish your order quickly; we have a wedding today." 6. When serving, staff members carry dishes while holding them against their chests and clothing, which is unhygienic and unbecoming of a waiter. 7. The tables on the ground floor are very close together, barely 150 cm apart, which compromises privacy. 8. Signs of greed at the expense of customer comfort were evident throughout the restaurant. 9. The dining area was small and uncomfortable, while the menu sheet was the size of a huge book, taking up half the table space as we read it! 10. The focus on ostentation and extravagance at the expense of cleanliness and customer service was clearly demonstrated by the presentation of bread on metal skewers at each table. This was extremely dangerous, showcasing the size and aroma of the bread, and was unsafe, especially given the close proximity of the tables. 11. The frightening statues at the entrance, such as the lion statue, and the dim colored lighting, despite the small size of the restaurant, made it more like a nightclub than a restaurant. 12. The manager's intrusive and unhelpful behavior, asking customers questions between the tables, was unprofessional. 13. The loud music in the restrooms was extremely disturbing. 14. The main plates were very small compared to the size of individual portions. 15. The serving of utensils and plates was chaotic, with decorative items that were unclean and not removed promptly. 16. The same glass Pepsi bottle is refilled, which is a health hazard in a public restaurant! 17. The poor lighting is suitable for indoor reading or movie-watching areas, not for dining. 18. Staff members put their fingers in the dishes near the food while serving. 19. The waiter asks customers to help him clear the table due to limited space. 20. Glasses are washed with a hanging brush that is reused without sterilization or using a clean cloth. 21.The waiter's information was inaccurate when we ordered non-spicy food and he assured us of that, then brought us spicy food. 22. The prices are very high compared to the level of service.
