About Osmow's

As a young bright chef and business man, Sam Osmow took over Polar Submarine as his own business. Sam experimented with his own recipes and came up with truly delicious meals. He soon felt the need to work on changing the whole concept of the restaurant - making it a business he can easily relate to. He reopened up as Osmow's, a truly Mediterranean restaurant at 251 Queen Street South, Unit 1, Mississauga, thereby presenting his new healthy and mouth watering meal selections. Due to the excellent success in quality and services, Sam has opened several Osmow's locations.

Loved this place up until last year, food taste is never consistent now which is sad because they used to have the best shawarmas but sadly no more....

Quantity provided on my last visit was not even enough for children, huge disappointment since it was only at home that i saw them pulling a fast one. Obviously with a hugh crowd waiting they were giving very small portions. I won\'t visit again but advise those who do to check the food before leaving. Also be prepared to wait in excess of 30min for the food due to the rush at night time.

Chicken on the rocks is highly recommended! However, pretty expensive.

I used to frequent Osmow's a lot, when the owner himself would be present all the time. I have no complaints on the service or food. They are one of the best shawerma shops in the city. But I have never seen a Halal Sign inside OR outside the store. Almost 6years. So its our Duty as muslim patrons to make an informed decision regarding the Halal authenticity of restaurants.

I think OSMOW`S is the best shwarma place I have been to. They have the most delicious food and the portion sizes are much bigger than other shwarma establishments. The wait times are long, but it is definitely worth the wait.

This is a frustrating shawarma place. THeir wrap and platter (though the platters aren't cheap) are fairly good. However there are quite a few other problems which I'd rather not put up with since there are three other shawarma places on the same street within a mile (and one of them almost right beside this one). The first is the wait time....if it's lunch or on a weekend afternoon, you'll have to wait much longer than normal for a shawarma (I've had to wait up to 15-20 mins before). They have a very very small kitchen/waiting area so the orders often get mixed up. The other problem is that there's very limited seating area and it's a bit squished. So this is more of a take-out place (and only if you're not in a hurry). The meat itself doesn't look all that healthy judging by the amount of oil that some of it is left in. The shawarma chicken is actually cooked on a grill as well. Overall, a good shawarma but seems like a hassle and people still aren't completely sure if it is halal. Just some advice, unless you can handle it, go for mild rather than regular or spicy on your shawarma.

Used to be good but just ate here and it was not very good. Wrap was tasteless and plate was mushy.

Amazing Shawarmas for a great price, right in the middle of streetsville. Chicken on the rocks is a great choice as well.
