Great place with halal options. Slightly expensive. Finding parking can be a challenge in the area.

Shish recently underwent a remodel and now has an open layout. The food is always delicious and very reasonably priced. I confirmed with the owner on 9/10/18 that ALL meat on their menu is halal.

Claims this restaurant is not halal are false. My wife and I have called and asked in person multiple times whether the meet served is halal, and the response has always been yes. The burgers, shawarma, and breakfast are amazing. The arabic tea is delightful. This is a go-to restaurant when family is in town.

I called the restaurant over the weekend before visiting and was assured by the manager that everything on the menu was halal. I insisted on Zabiha and the manager (non Muslim) didn't know what meant but said the owner told him everything was halal and that he was very strict about these things. Allahu alam. There was no pork on the menu and no alcohol served. We all tried different burgers. All very good. Swiss mushroom was awesome
