I visited this branch yesterday for dinner and ordered my usual chicken and rice meal deal. I've eaten at many Pepe's branches across England and Scotland, so I know what to expect. Unfortunately, this was by far my worst experience. I asked if they could mix Lemon & Herb with Extra Hot, which is something every other Pepe's branch has always been happy to do for me. This branch refused, which was disappointing as it's never been an issue anywhere else. The biggest let-down was the food itself. The rice looked very dry and didn't seem fresh. It honestly felt like it had been sitting for a while or wasn't cooked properly. It definitely wasn't the quality I've come to expect from Pepe's. Overall, I left disappointed. The lack of flexibility and the poor quality of the food made this a very different experience from every other Pepe's I've visited. Sadly, I won't be returning to this branch.
