The staff has verbally confirmed their Halal status. They were very reluctant to do so. And their demeanor wasn't very promising. I would HIGHLY advise against this restaurant. If they are Halal Zabiha then why be so reluctant to confirm the status? Furthermore, if you really are Halal then why not have a Halal certification? My muslim brothers and sisters, please be careful of places like this when they are afraid to say whether they are Halal Zabiha or not. May Allah (swt) guide us all towards the right path. It is not fair for a muslim to lie to another muslim. JazzakAllah

nice place with outdoor seating. i ordered hummus and a gyro. the gyro was not that great. hummus was good but it is hard to go wrong with hummus. perhaps other items on the menu are better.

Decent place. Nothing amazing, but worth checking out. Fried chicken burger was disappointing, cheeseburger was ok. Located in a nice area for a stroll.

Usually very crowded at lunch time so seating is an issue. Some of the dishes are made with white wine, so they clearly do not care too much about the Halal aspect of their food. The food tastes good though (OK, maybe except for the lentil soup)

Great food, Good Service. The flavor is just right. I am not sure how they do it, but their appetizers are addictive. I really miss eating these, if I don't taste them every few weeks/months. The place is a little on the small side and you may have to wait for a table some busy evenings. Still it is worth the wait. They do have some really great meals.

My Wife and I LOVE Efes in New Brunswick, but getting there can be a pain. By the Mercy of Allah, Efes has just opened here in the Princeton Area, in the corner of Nassau Street (Route 27 on northbound side) and Olden Street. Free Parking is available in the back and the menu is the same for those familiar with the menu in the New Brunswick Restaurant. The seating is smaller than the New Brunswick Restaurant so the experience may be more ... intimate. This Restaurant is literally a duah that has been answered and I look forward to coming back countless more times.
