Family-friendly and good food.
I\'ve been here a few times. Full disclosure: food is great! Service? not so much. I\'m taking a full star off only because of service. I\'ve had an extremely bad experience here before. I still go afterwards, but just know that the service really isn\'t that great. All kabobs are great here. Kubideh isn\'t as good as, say, Shamshiri. But the joojeh and lamb and barg are very close to Rose Kabob quality. The ice cream dessert is definitely the best Persian Ice Cream I\'ve had in a restaurant in DC. They have many waiters and is a little more upscale than the cheaper places. Prices are reasonable for the food. Friends Kabob around the corner is a little cheaper with similar quality food, but doesn\'t have the same waiter service (however Friends Kabob has much better service).
Came to VA from NYC and decided to give this place a try because of the high rating. Was not disappointed at all... The food was absolutely amazing and the dining experience was great due to the kind/courteous staff. They suggested that I try the soltani special and after taking their advice I received an aromatic mountain of rice with a generous portion of tender koobideh and barg kabob that were grilled to perfection. I am definitely going to stop by to eat here again whenever I am in VA.
Nice foods We taste chickin and meet
This place is Shamshiry's twin; you will even notice some of the same waiters who worked for Shamshiry. Nonetheless, great food!
Good service, good food, good portions. Have only been here for lunches. Tip: Get there before noon, it gets packed pretty quickly.
Perfect food loved it:) Good service ....for sure ill came again and again
I visited for lunch. I ordered Barg and Koobideh. Crispy rice and gheymeh. I liked Barg Kebab, but not the koobideh. It was rubbery and overall not tasted well. The main dishes only have one skewer which for the price of $25 i did expect 2 skewers! The gheymeh on crispy rice seemed old to me and wasn't enough for the price. I ordered Persian saffron ice-cream too which was really good. My check for one person was $63 before tip which was pricey in my opinion. The service was good.
The food is average here. One thing i want to mention is that the Bargh kabob( filet mignon) is too small for $27 dollars. You only get small 3 pieces thats it. But other than that the food is Ok
Service is bad been waiting for to longe and no one talk nicely with customer bad customers service
